She pays tax to the U.S government and puts money into the shops and restaurants there..

Most of her (remaining) fans live in England and some countries in mainland Europe..

She promised to play America,Canada,Italy Australia,and Japan..

For months and months prior to this tour..

So obviously she and her “band” (ha,ha) played 7 gigs in Norway..

When it actually came down to it..

Beggars Can’t Be Choosers..

This is what happens when you “tour” the sort of gigs/venues/locations..

Real bands who AREN’T playacting at “Rock Star” have turned down..

And your agent have to get some SUCKERS into or risk losing their small commission..

Wendy took this flyer down from her website the day after the tour ended..

And has been somewhat “vague” about the details of it since (dates,venues,support acts,crowds etc..)

Even going so far as to “suggest” it was MUCH bigger and longer than it actually was as you can clearly see..

(and yes the second flyer IS Wendy James…and that is meant to be blood coming from her eyes..)

I said I did but didn’t know exactly where..

Today I found them..!

(I was looking for Wendy’s infamous “lost” interview from 1991 “This Time Next Year I Will Be A Millionaire” which actually does exist..)

So here they are..

They date from the mid 90’s and are meant to be PARODIES of “home taping is killing music” advertisments from the music biz at the time..

(This was years before the invention of the MP3 and downloading..)

This is yet ANOTHER of the Australian Paying-My-Dealer deejay flyers..

Which MYSTERIOUSLY don’t seem to be appearing on Wendy’s (cough) “Homepage”…

I wonder why..?

Could it be the “Creem Magazine” photo (1989) which I uploaded in 1998 onto WendyJames.Nu in the middle..?

Could it be the use of ‘MCA’,'Universal’ and ‘Uni‘ logos which have expired 20 years ago..?

The cynical use of a 1988 “Transvision Vamp” photograph to give the impression the band are still active..?

Or is the lack of ANY photo of Wendy James herself from May 2009..?

How about the lack of “Racine” anywhere..?

Truly pathetic..

Wendy must be desperate.

I think I even feel a tiny bit sorry for her..

This is the original flyer for Wendy’s “Come To Madeira Sweet Thing” deejay gig last year..

(I wanted to wait until I got the full sized artwork before posting it..thus the delay kay?)

Not surprisingly she did not post THIS  dignified item on her site when the gig was announced..

(She was “selling” herself on the basis of a 17 year old topless photo…oh dear!)

The words on the back of the flyer are in Portuguese but basically they say..

“Wendy is the biggest super star to visit Madeira..”

“Following a huge number of hits she fronted what was one of the biggest bands of the entire 80’s..”

“Named as the biggest sex symbol of  all by MTV…”

“She produced two solo albums with her new band Racine during several big world tours..”

“She wrote the theme tune “Your a Good Man Sister” for Californication,the north american show starring David Duchovny in the lead role…”

Can you spot the “teeny tiny white lies” amongst all that subtle hype..?

The actual gig itself was poorly attended and Wendy was “out of it” as per usual..

Maybe she drank too much of the sponsor’s product..
