It was a FAKE fight which was designed by Pete Bassett (MCA) and Simon Watson (Cinepop)…

With Wendy James’ full knowledge and co-operation…

She “acted” her part in this charade for free publicity…

It was fed to the tabloid press to generate some sales figures for MCA Record (UK)…

In Australia in 1991 Wendy tried (unsuccessfully) to re-start the fight for publicity reasons..

(During a radio interview where she also criticised Cathy Dennis for “blatant cynical sexual innuendo”…)

However this time Kylie’s management company threatened her with a lawsuit if she didn’t stop..

(Cathy Dennis’ management company,19 Management,also threatened her with a big lawsuit..)

Wendy stopped.

Kylie Minogue covered “Should I Stay Or Should I Go” by The Clash with Mick Jones personal approval..

Wendy James is FORBIDDEN to do any Clash cover versions…

(If you don’t believe me….simply ask her…you will be surprised at the answer..!)

In 2005 Elvis Costello said he would “love” to write a whole album for Kylie..

He said

Wendy was NOT using cocaine at this time..

Thus no red marks around her nostrils like nowadays..

Her upper lip is it’s normal shape then too..

It is more “pronounced” now..

It was “commissioned” by MCA US to be shown exclusively in the US market..

Ironically it NEVER has been either shown on tv or released officially over there to this day..

It was never released (or acknowledged) by MCA UK in England..

(Literally they say “It doesn’t exist..”)

It only came out briefly in Germany and was then withdrawn forever..and ever.

Why…?

A combination of record company politics…

(the people who commissioned it “fell out” with MCA management and got fired)

No value to the subject…

(This came out just after Looks Could Kill flopped and B of B was “delayed”….yikes!)

Wendy’s famous “giggling fit” which is one of the (un-intentional) highlights of the video..

(What WAS she smoking that day…we must WEED out the truth…wink)

Wendy saying in the interview footage that she’d just had sex with a builder…

(Yes she does say it completely straight faced too….)

All in all…
